Introducing Starmind’s New Pricing Structure – Coming September 2025
Starting in September 2025, Starmind is launching a new way for organizations to access our platform. These changes are designed to make it easier to get started, scale over time, and unlock more of the knowledge your people already have.
This update introduces clearer pricing, more flexible product options, and better ways to integrate Starmind into your existing tools.
What’s changing
We’re making three important updates to improve how organizations use and scale Starmind:
1. API Access to the Knowledge Engine
The core intelligence behind Starmind is now available via API. You can integrate it into:
- Internal search platforms
- AI copilots and chatbots
- Dashboards and portals
This means teams can surface trusted expertise directly within the tools they already use, without adding new platforms or disrupting workflows.
2. Expertise profiles and user activity are now priced separately
Starmind automatically creates an expertise profile for anyone whose work it can analyze. For example, someone who authors documents in SharePoint or contributes to public chats in Teams or Slack. These people don’t need to log in or use Starmind directly to be included in the system’s knowledge map.
Now, you only pay for:
- Expertise profiles – How many people’s knowledge you want to map
- Active users – How many people interact with Starmind by asking or answering questions
This means you can capture knowledge across the organization without licensing every employee as a user.
3. Two ways to access the Knowledge Engine
Starmind now offers two out-of-the-box interfaces—Expert Finder and Knowledge Suite—built on our core intelligence layer. Use one or both to surface trusted expertise in real time, capture high-value knowledge at scale, and meet your teams where they already work.

Why this matters
This new structure makes Starmind more flexible and scalable for enterprises of any size. You can:
- Start with knowledge mapping across your workforce
- Add interactive tools as adoption grows
- Integrate insights into existing systems via API
By separating mapping from interaction, you capture more value from day one, without needing to commit to full rollout immediately.
With API access, you ensure knowledge flows not just to people, but also to the AI systems supporting them.
