Gartner Analysts predict that 70 percent of organizations will integrate AI to assist employees’ productivity by 2021. “Digital workplace leaders will proactively implement AI-based technologies such as virtual assistants or other NLP-based conversational agents and robots to support and augment employees’ tasks and productivity,” said Helen Poitevin, senior research director at Gartner.
The adoption of AI by organizations to boost employee productivity is no longer going to be a matter of differentiation, but rather a matter of staying competitive. One of many strong signs of this growing wave is the Gartner report released earlier this year where they forecast not only this majority adoption of AI, but also the tremendous benefits this will bring to the organizations: a cumulative of $2.9 trillion in business value gained as well as 6.2 billion hours of work productivity recovered.
